Design by Damian Lucaciu / Uni Cab.
Former Student of RMIT.
During the last 10 years I've seen lots of future designs for new Wheelchair Cabs. Designs like the future taxi in the picture here. Always small cars running on an environmental friendly kind of energy. Never were these cars accessible for disabled or adapted to wheelchairs. This is the first wheelchair accessible taxi design. And what a design. I love it. A very ingenious multi purpose vehicle running on a hydrogen fuel cell.
It can transport up to 4 people at once or one disabled person and his companion. It has ramp access and some luggage space. For more pictures see this website.
Now I just have to wait for this taxi to become available in Bangkok or even better Hua Hin, Thailand.
Taxi with ramp access. Wheelchair accessible taxis. Transport for handicapped. Airport transfer for disabled people to care resorts. Tours in adapted Toyota Commuter minivan. Shopping trips for mobility scooters. Transportation to medical care appointment. Taxi ride to / from nightlife experience
